- Jakhiya: It is a crunchy pahadi herb, ingredient to most Uttarakhandi dishes & is used for tempering all types of pahadi cuisine. Awed by nature, it is grown between crops or in multi cropping patterns.
- Bhangjeera: These are tiny, greyish aromatic seeds, that are used as a spice and are also roasted and grinded to a paste, combined with garlic and green chillies to make delicious chutney
